Crosswins announces Spinnaker - a product for Medical and related organisations.
Spinnaker is designed for organisations who manage resources such as Clinics, and people like Doctors, Nurses, Opticians or Dentists and are interested in:

Spinnaker is designed for Medical, Dental and Optical Clinics where physical resources must be managed together with specialist human resource skills.
Spinnaker is unique in that it is designed for organisations who have more than one clinic and who may also have multiple geographical locations, franchises and/or associations with other organisations. Spinnaker allows larger organisations to offer Call Centre facilities to its franchisees. Spinnaker will also provide interfaces to external applications conformant with HL7.
The genesis of Spinnaker
The product of over three years of development this new product has been born out of an earlier application used in business for more than two years and developed through two major releases. This new application has been redeveloped from the gound up using the latest Microsoft technologies to provide a scalable, robust and secure application for organisations desiring either to deploy the application on their own servers or in a hosted environment on Crosswins own servers.
The application is available for monthly or annual subscription. As a Microsoft Hosting Partner Crosswins will provide all necessary platform hosting at minimal cost to its clients.
Technology Platform
Spinnaker is developed as an nTier application to run on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 X64 servers utilising ASP.NET and SQL Server 2005. Spinnaker utilises advanced features of SQL Server 2005 to enhance performance and realiability of our clients business application.
Release Programme
Spinnaker is currently undergoing Beta installations and by end of Q4-2006 will be commercially available for Deployment on Client's servers and Hosted mode on our servers. We are planning to begin active marketing of the fully released application and service at the beginning of Q1-2007. Organisations interested in participating in our Beta program should contact us to apply for participation.
Road Map
Spinnaker has an innovative Product Road Map which sees the addition of new features according to our clients requirements as identified through every day usage. We are also planning integration with Microsoft Office 2007 Outlook.
